Volunteer at Thame Sportive 2025

Thame Sportive wouldn’t be possible without the help of over 50 amazing volunteers. We’re incredibly grateful for any assistance from those willing to donate their time and energy to make this event a success.

If you’d like to get involved, there are plenty of ways to help, depending on location, time of day, and your skills. As a thank you, all volunteers will receive a guaranteed entry to the following year’s Thame Sportive. Your entry link will be sent before advanced entries open in December 2026.

🕓 Morning Duties (Start/Finish Area – Thame Town Centre)

• Signing in riders
• Checking rider IDs
• Preparing and serving tea and coffee
• Managing car parking
• General marshalling around Thame Town Centre

🕒 Afternoon Duties (Finish Area – Thame Town Centre)

• Timing riders as they finish
• Serving meals to riders
• Printing and handing out rider certificates
• Managing car parking
• General marshalling around the finish area

On the Route
We need plenty of volunteers to ensure the smooth running and safety of the 13km, 80km, and 130km routes. Roles include:

• Junction Marshals: Positioned at key junctions along the route to direct and assist riders.
• Feed Station Helpers: Located at two feed stations to offer riders water, snacks, and encouragement.
